The BBSM Installation Process

The First step of the design process is to fully understand the requirements for your projects and any constraints that there might be. We will then scope out the project to provide you with the most appropriate boiler for your needs. We will also avoid you on any RHI tariffs where available.

Our service includes creating bespoke sustainable heating solutions by drawing up schematics, detailed drawings, biomass boiler selection and specifications for installations and retrofits. Our dedicated team of professionals navigates the entire design process, ensuring precision at every step.

Our skilled experts develop 2D and 3D layout drawings, providing a visual blueprint for your biomass boiler project. Our commitment extends to full mechanical and electrical design, providing hydraulic and electrical schematics. Our scope includes design, build and installation of Building Management System (BMS) control systems where required, providing a holistic approach to your biomass boiler project.

On the agreed date we will begin site works. Our team on engineers will undertake any removal and decommissioning work where necessary and will then prepare the site for the new boiler. When the boiler and all other ancillary parts are delivered to site they will be installed and connected in accordance with the approved design documents.

We will make every endeavour to stick to the agreed project timescales and if there is any deviation for any reason you will be notified by your project manager.

On completion of the installation phase we will prepare the boiler will be prepared for commissioning. During the commissioning process, the boiler will be configured as required to meet your needs. All associated pumps, valves and controls will be tested for function to ensure compliance. Part of the commissioning process involves checking for RHI metering compliance prior to the Independent Metering Report (IMR).

Following successful commissioning of the system our engineers and / or your project manager will provide a full demonstration of the boiler and associated controls. We will provide on-site training and documentation as necessary to ensure a thorough understanding of the newly installed equipment, biomass fuel, and how the system works.

This guidance will include the day-to-day operation and general maintenance of the boiler and associated equipment.

Your project manager will continue to help and support you folowing the installtion of your system. We can help you with any documentation for RHI application and compliance. We have a huge amount of experience in this area having helped hundred's of clients with their RHI.

Your installation isn't the end of your dealings with BBSM. We offer servicing and maintenance programs for all of our clients. These provide a timely and cost effective solution for your ongoing needs.
